This therapeutic touch stimulates your personal energy flow, bringing it into balance, and strengthens your energy by delivering healing energy to you from the energy of the world around you.Q:Does Reiki hurt?A:No. The therapist’s hands are placed lightly on your body, or move within several inches above your body, to balance your chakras. You may feel warmth or tingling, or a sense of weightlessness during your session.Q:What can be treated with Reiki?A:Any physical, spiritual or emotional problem can benefit from Reiki. Q:Does Reiki eliminate the need to see a medical doctor?A:Reiki does not replace medical care, but enhances the body’s ability to metabolize and heal, and works in conjunction with, or complementary to, all other forms of healing and treatment.Q:Will I experience any side effects from Reiki?A:Reiki is safe for people and pets of all ages. Similar to massage therapy, Reiki releases pent-up toxins in the body, allowing them to be flushed or filtered from your system. People can experience brief symptoms such as headaches or mild weakness, but these are signs of the body’s cleansing process, and pass quickly.
